21 DEPRIVED COMMUNITY SCHOOLS IN TANO SOUTH RECEIVE LEARNING MATERIALS

The District Chief Executive for Tano South in the Brong- Ahafo Region,Hon Bukari Zakari Anaba has presented 2,916 Uniforms,1,465 Note one Books,267 Mathematical Books,2,767 Writing Books,142 Boxes of Biscuit,3,210 Cup and 4,820 of Toffees to 21 deprive community schools in the district.
The communities are Monta, Owen Nkwanta, Bronsankro, Adomakokrom, Bechem Nkwanta, kwasu Nyinasua, Bechem Islamic, Ohiaminguase, Mawaninso, Achiase, Krobo, Nyamebeye, Asuboi, Tweapease, Subriso,Tuagyankrom, Adaa, Nsuta, Ayeasuano, Kofi Ntamkrom and Derma Nkwekyire.
The DCE did the presentation at my fist day in school in the various communities.Hon Bukari Zakari in his address said, the president Professor Mills in 2008 campaign, promise Ghanaians that, if the good people of Ghana vote for him as the president of the nation, he will provide free exercise books and uniforms to deprive schools in the country and the president has been able to fulfill his promise so he needs recommendation headed.
Hon Bukari said, provision of quality education in the country is in the heart of the NDC government and said the government is committed to provide all the necessary logistics to improve quality education in the country, by constructing new class room block to stop school under trees, providing free uniforms and books to pupils, providing educational facilities and infrastructures and by giving more incentives to teachers who accept posting to rural areas.
The DCE commended president Mills for remembering the pupils of tano south district. Hon Bukari Zakari Anaba urged the pupils in the various communities to learn hard for their own benefit and the benefit of the nation.
He appeals to the various headmasters to distribute the items to the pupils to improve quality education in the district. The DCE cut sod for construction work on a 6 unit class room block for the pupils of Tuagyankrom primary school, The cost of the project is GH¢145,948.55 and it is expected to be complete in 8 months.
