TANO SOUTH MCE TOURS REGISTRATION CENTER

The Municipal Chief Executive for Tano South, Hon. Collins Offinam Takyi has visited some registration centers in the Municipality to ascertain himself how the registration is going on at the centers.

His tour started from Biokrom, the MCE and his team had their temperatures checked with the thermometer gun among other COVID 19 protocols before being allowed to pass through. At the first stop, the Registration Officer said as at the time he got there, about 54 people had registered meanwhile other officers added that a lot people had been registered.

                


Hon. Takyi was impressed with the ECs adherence to the COVID 19 safety protocols at the centers but enquired if the officers had face some challenges to which, the Registration Officer replied that everything was going on well and called on citizens of the country who are eighteen (18) years and above with sound mind to see this as a national duty and go out in their numbers to register while observing the COVID 19 protocols as outlined by the Electoral Commission to prevent the pandemic.

He reminded them not to forget their proof of identity either the national ID, Passport or two guarantors who has already registered.
