TANO SOUTH MP DONATES ITEMS TO THE DISTRICT

The concern of every leader in a society is to see to the upliftment of the living standard of his people in the field of education, health and the general wellbeing of the people. It is in this vain to make the people of the Tano South District enjoy the basic human needs that the Member of Parliament for Tano South Constituency Hon Andrew Adjei-Yeboah has made a modest donation to the Tano South District. The Member of Parliament made a donation of items ranging from educational materials, sporting, social amenities and food.


Making a presentation of computers, jerseys, 400 street light bulbs, bags of cement and bags of gari the MP said he has never regretted for taking up such responsibility which he does annually to help uplift the standard of living of the people.

The Member of Parliament said though the items would not reach all the people in the district his widows mint would go a long way to solve some of the basic problems the district is facing. He said as a Member of Parliament he is obliged to promote quality education, health care and sanitation in his constituency and called on all hands on deck in this regard. He said since government could not shoulder all responsibilities, it is up to the communities to contribute to the development of their various communities.


Hon Andrew Adjei Yeboah hinted that he carried a message of hope for the people of the constituency although he considered himself the rightful MP it is time for the people to determining “What is right”. He used the occasion to congratulate the Management and technical team and the entire playing body of the Bechem United Football Club for qualifying into the premier league. He promised to contribute his quota to the sustaining of the club in the premier league.

Receiving the items on behalf of the District the Tano South District Director of Education Mrs. Marry Gyimah thanked the Member of Parliament for his gesture and said the items would be beneficial to the District especially the educational institutions and called on other agencies to emulate the shining example of the MP.
