Pupils
in the Tano South District of the Brong Ahafo Region have been urged to devote
their time on books and also attend school regularly and respect their teachers
in order to become useful assets to their parents and the country as a whole
after completion of school.
This
advice was contained in the address the Tano South District Chief Executive
Hon. Bukari Zakari Anaba gave to the pupils in some schools he visited to mark “MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL” which is
always observed on the first day of re-opening of school every beginning of the
academic year.
The
visit afforded the DCE the opportunity to interact with fresh pupils who had
entered KG1 and Primary 1 for the first time and on behalf of the president,
presented goodies (biscuits, toffees, etc) to the pupils.
The
Tano South District Director of Education, Mr. Prince Yeboah Marfo also in his
speech advised the pupils to remember their first day at school as that would
go a long way to help them to remember what they are in for and entreated them
to have good values that would help them too become future leaders of the
country.
The
District Director promised that his outfit would do all that it takes to work
and supply the needed logistics to the teachers to enable them prepare their
lesson notes well and teach the pupils to understand and grasp the tuition
accordingly.
